Auburn University opened the doors in the spring of 2005 to one of the largest construction projects ever to take place on its campus-the creation of a three-building, $39 million Science and Laboratory Center for the University's College of Sciences and Mathematics.

Located in the center of the campus, the facility includes a 300-seat, 10,000 sq.ft. auditorium, a two-story classroom and office building and a towering four-story chemistry and biology laboratory building. The entire complex will feature space-age instrumentation and technology to accommodate all levels of instruction and technological features to meet the needs of the 21 st century student.

As part of Draper & Associates continued relationship with general contractor The Robins & Morton Group on its premier project, the firm was able to provide scheduling and consulting services throughout the life of this exciting project. Draper & Associates scope of services included development of the Overall Project Schedule and biweekly detailed near term schedules to monitor the construction activities of each project. In addition, the firm also provided progress meeting facilitation, site walks, construction status reports, and trend analysis throughout the duration of construction.
