Draper & Associates provided scheduling and project controls for the Bristol Regional Medical Center , a new 337 bed hospital built at a cost of $71 Million. In all, 126 acres were developed, which required completely rerouting a stream according to directions from the Environmental Protection Agency. The project included a 503,400 SF hospital and a 90,000 SF medical office building.

Draper & Associates provided both construction schedule development and construction monitoring services during all phases of the project. A Draper & Associates consultant conducted bi-weekly project coordination meetings with the owner, the general contractor and principal subcontractors. During these meetings, progress was measured and correlated to the Overall Project Schedule, action items were identified with responsibility for completion and commitments for completion dates, and detailed near-term scheduling was developed to ensure timely accomplishment of Overall Project Schedule target dates. Updated schedules and complete documentation were provided promptly to all project participants.

This state-of-the-art hospital was completed in 28 months and returned $2 Million to the owner.
