Main Place at Orland Park, Illinois is a village style mall of in-line shops, restaurants and two major retail anchor stores. The mall structures enclose 521,000 square feet of retail/commercial space. The project includes demolition and clearing of the site, construction of a 2500 space parking lot, environmental mitigation, offsite road improvements and utility relocations.
Draper & Associates was engaged by the project developer to develop and monitor a Master Program Schedule, assist in the development of contract delivery strategies, develop and monitor individual project construction schedules and act as the facilitator for Project Team meetings during the design development and planning phase of the project.
Draper & Associates, acting in concert with the Developer and development team members, created a comprehensive Master Schedule which tracked all aspects of the development from development and concept approval by governmental agencies through individual tenant build-outs and commissioning. The schedule allowed tracking of key decision points and required actions by all members of the development team.
