The Material Status Log (MATSTAT) is a customized database designed to manage the materials and raw goods required to complete a given project.  This system identifies critical dates regarding the submittal, approval, fabrication and delivery of project materials based on the durations detailed in the OPS.  The MATSTAT allows project managers and key participants to effectively status the materials requirements of contractors and subcontractors, providing another element of schedule control.
