Achieving Project Success Within Your Budget
At Draper & Associates, we understand that scheduling services are not a “one size fits all” situation.
Each client and project is unique and requires a customized approach to achieving project success. When you engage with Draper, we can work with you to tailor our services to meet your scheduling needs while maintaining budget discipline.
Below are the typical service models we have utilized to serve our clients:
FULL SERVICES – over our 39 years of providing CPM Scheduling Services, we have developed a “standard” service model that meets the needs of the majority of our clients. This model typically provides for:
- Overall Project Schedule (OPS) development
- Job Coordination Meetings – held bi-weekly and conducted on-site
- Detailed Progress Reports
CORE SERVICES – in certain cases, we can tailor the deliverables to ensure that the services we are providing meet the needs of the client. Typically this will involve removing the detailed Progress Reports and only providing the Action Item Agenda and update Near-Term Schedule. By scaling down the scope of the progress report, the level of effort required for each meeting is reduced.
REMOTE SERVICES – the time and cost of traveling to an on-site JCM can be cost prohibitive for projects that are not in close proximity to one of our three offices. Due to the Covid pandemic, the utilization of remote meetings has become more prevalent amongst our clients. While we strongly believe that face-to-face meetings and physically walking the job site is critical to our ability to provide effective services, we have found that a combination of on-site and remote meetings can provide a cost-effective solution.
DATABASE SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT – in some cases our clients require outside expertise to maintain their database schedule (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, ASTA PowerProject). Our consultant conducts virtual meetings to status the schedule and provide required reports and analysis.
SPS/OPS DEVELOPMENT -in many situations, Draper is engaged to develop the initial Summary Project Schedule (SPS) during the Preconstruction Phase of the project. Additionally, Draper can be engaged to develop the Overall Project Schedule (OPS) with no additional services.
P6 DEVELOPMENT – Draper has a proven system for developing the initial OPS that serves as the baseline for conversion to a P6 schedule. In certain situations, a client will utilize Draper only to develop and deliver the schedule that the client internally maintains for the duration of the project.
Whatever your scheduling needs, Draper has the people and systems to help you deliver a successful project.
